Forum Equalizer Review

Forums are without doubt one of the most popular ways to advertise your website, blog or favorite affiliate program. This is mainly because it's not only a great way to get targeted traffic and incoming links, but it's also a fun way to network with others. There are a number of advantages you can gain from your forum posts. Firstly, you get to post comments or ask questions, typically about Internet Marketing issues. In return you get instant traffic through your website link (usually left in your signature), and you can also benefit from the feedback from other members. Plus, you will also accumulate high-quality backlinks which helps you claim prized search engine rankings.

The downside of using forum posting as an SEO exercise, as with many other Internet marketing chores is that it can be extremely time-consuming and tedious work. You can end up spending countless hours reading and writing posts, and as a result, the benefits you gain from your forum marketing campaigns are often outweighed by the amount of your valuable time is eaten up.

Enter Forum Equalizer, a very useful software program which automatically submits your comments or questions to a built-in database of over 2,000 forums. This means that the posts you create once you're up and running are submitted to far more message boards than you ever could have reached doing the job manually. So, instead of waiting months and years to accumulate a decent amount of incoming links from search engines, you can now do it in a matter of days! I found the Forum Equalizer software very easy to use, however it will take some time to register as a member for all of the forums because many of them require you to type in image pass codes (that software cannot handle), but you can still get this task done relatively quickly because the Forum Equalizer software does fill-in your personal information and click the forum submit button.

I outsourced the task of completing the registration process and dealing with the confirmation emails to a neighbor's young son who was glad of the opportunity to earn some extra pocket money and within two days I was all set up and ready to go.

Forum Equalizer Software

I loaded up the Forum Equalizer software and noticed that it immediately updated with more forums to the database. So first things first, I quickly registered with those extra forums to keep my forums database up to date. I then get to choose which of the forums I will post my message to. Since this was my first post.. my test post.. I thought I would keep to a general subject which I could post to every single forum rather than selecting certain forums within a specific niche. Now, having carried out forum marketing campaigns in the past, I know not to bombard forums with advertisements as the posts are not read by other members and also you run the risk of having your membership deleted for spamming.

I find that forum posts are more likely to attract attention if you ask a question, or ask for advice from other members. Most people will join a forum to interact with others with the same or similar interests and love to swap ideas, ask for, and give advice to other members. I stick to subjects that will be readily discussed in the majority of forums, for example getting traffic, html issues or website creation. I also make a point of keeping the question non-technical and that will typically bring a bigger response from other members. The important thing here is that you get as many members as possible to comment back to your posts and even create an ongoing discussion on the subject.

Next, I gave some thought to my Post Title. I want to keep the subject matter as general as possible but still include the keyword I want to flood with link juice. Without giving away too much information about my own campaigns, a good example might be "Any Ideas For More Targeted Traffic To My Website?". A title like this will contain several important keyword phrases and will attract lots of comments from other members. When I write the post I always put the same title as a header at the top and then repeat it once again in the text of the post. Use your long tail keyword once int he title and a maximum of twice in the post.

I then write a signature to my post which will include my name or username, plus a link back to the URL I am promoting. That's it, and Im now ready to begin posting. I select all the forums and start the submission process. The software is fast and once I see it starting the submission process I drop it to my system tray and get on with my other Internet marketing chores. It takes less than five minutes to think about then write a post and fire up the submissions.

The first time I used the Forum Equalizer software, I remember I went for a game of golf and returned a few hours later to check my submissions. The software had finished the submission process and I was able to check the submission reports. Wow! Just a handful of failed posts, but the majority were succesful. I did a quick check on a couple of the failed posts and found the forums in question were not accessible at that time. I was delighted with the results, but better still within a couple of days I noticed my traffic stats had taken a distinct upturn, and by the end of the week I had made nine sales directly from the links I had left around the forums.

So to summarize my views on the Forum Equalizer software, It is so simple to set up and use, it runs flawlessly, and is certain to bring lots of link juice and customers to your website providing you use it sensibly. For the optimum results, keep to interesting comments with tips or to ask a question that provokes responses. Never just submit an ad. With good comments you will find that your posts stay-up for a long period of time and reap maximum search engine benefits.

5 Pointers to Email Marketing Success

Having access to a quality autoresponder is an absolute must if you are going to succeed in your email marketing endeavors. However, there are certain guidelines which you will need to follow if you are to be sure you are getting the best possible results from your email marketing campaigns. Your Autoresponder is the most important of email marketing tools and your only method of keeping in contact with your prospects. Be successful with it.. Every time!

Last week I decided it was time to clean up my email inbox which I have to admit was getting more than a little crammed with hundreds of messages mainly from lists Id joined in the past, and many of them I had not even opened. Well I ended up un-subscribing from at least ten lists, half of them because I have no strong interest in the subject matter, and the others I quit purely because they were emailing me far too often. The thing that surprised me was that three of these nuisance type lists were well known internet marketing gurus, who really should know better. One of them had posted me five emails in a single day!

The spam filter designed to protect me from receiving unsolicited email in my inbox, had diverted approximately 33% of my mail to the trash folder and I had a quick glance through it before deleting. I was horrified to note that there were several legitimate messages in there which should not have been trashed, in fact two of them were from friends unconnected with my email marketing business, and the messages were personal. I had a quick look through the legitimate email marketing messages and was immediately able to identify why the spam filter considered them as spam.

All this left me with the realization that many email marketing list owners were not having their messages read for one reason or another, well not by me anyway, and I decided to look closely at the causes. I then spent the rest of the day reading through a random selection of generated mail, and came up with 5 really

important guidelines that really should be taken into consideration when creating your email marketing campaigns, because when all is said and done, if your messages are not being read by your prospects, then your whole email marketing agenda becomes futile.

So here are my five pointers, which if implemented in your own campaigns will definitely result in a larger percentage of mail being read by your prospects and give your email marketing efforts a higher chance of success.

Time Interval Between Outgoing Messages.

Once a new prospect or customer has completed their details and become a member of your list you cannot just leave it at that! It is most important to constantly remind the prospect of your website and the products or services you offer. Just one email a week, sent automatically from your autoresponder is all it needs. Never leave it longer than one week between your messages, but on the other hand do not inundate your prospects with too much mail. This is poor email marketing practice and will often be seen as annoying by your prospects which may result in them requesting to be removed from your list.

Be Sure Your Messages Bypass The Spam Filters

It can be infuriating when you have put a lot of time and effort in crafting what you consider to be a powerful email message to your list membership, only to have half of the messages trashed by spam filters giving no opportunity of any feedback from those members. By now you will know that there are certain words which are taboo in email marketing practice. Words which will trigger spam filters immediately. The more serious email marketing pros will invest in software which will auto-edit, test and make sure their messages are delivered properly to the recipients inbox ready to be read. Whitelisting is also a good way of making sure your mail is delivered and you would do well to research that topic.

The Subject Box Content

I personally only open mail in my inbox if the subject of the mail demands that I do! A high percentage of my mail goes unopened purely because the message in the subject box does not sufficiently arouse my interest, and I have to admit that a staggering 75% of the mail that reached my inbox was still trashed before I read it! You must realize the importance of your subject lines if your email marketing campaigns are really going to kick into gear. I often laugh at some of the so called gurus subject lines and cannot believe they spent more than a nanosecond thinking about it. Gurus just have bigger lists I guess... But hey I digress.. Give much thought to your subject lines. Keep them short but relevant and make them demand that your email message is opened and read.

One Promotion Per Email

A good few of the email messages I opened (purely for my research purpose), had several promotions offered within the message, and with limited information about any one of them. Your email marketing campaigns will bare more fruit if you keep the content of each email relatively focused, and preferably on just one promotion per email. Information overload serves only to confuse and remember that a reader has only so much attention to offer to your message. Do not dilute that attention by spreading it over several promotions all in the same message.

Never.. Ever.. Procrastinate!

This is my favorite.. Or shall I say my least favorite and the one thing that makes me sack an email and move on. If you get to the point where your prospect has actually opened your message and is reading it, don\'t bore him/her silly by keep repeating the same information over and over. Keep every sentence offering fresh information and try to hold that prospects attention right through to the end, or at least as far as the link to the product or service you are promoting.

So that is it! Five very simple guidelines for you to consider. And when you have finished your email message, just ask yourself if its general content would interest you. Would it intrigue you enough to take a closer look? In these times when an average inbox will receive 30 to 40 email marketing messages a day, it is your duty to do your utmost to make sure your message is amongst the three or four that will actually be absorbed.
